Very good food for a very long time! They have been a Bessemer staple forever! Please be patient because it takes a little time because everything is cooked fresh! But believe me it is worth the wait one of my favorite places to go for food to go
found out about this place through a facebook post, its a staple in the Bessemer community. i absolutely love eating at places considered hole in the wall because they tend to have great food. i would suggest calling your order in to keep down your wait time as everything is cooked to order. absolutely enjoyed the food can see myself stopping by whenever i'm in the area.
This is a great little hidden restaurant, definitely off the beaten path. I almost passed it, it's very time but big flavor. I ordered the fried fish and wings the fish was fried to perfection and seasoned great. The wings were just so so but I'll definitely try again. If you want good fish like home fried this is your place.
What can I say???? He has everything on the menu from burgers to wings to fish!! I have eaten here ALL my life basically!!! This is a little Bessemer gold mine! On this trip I got the Large Whiting Sandwich which included 2 BIG pieces of fish with four pieces of bread! It's fried JUST RIGHT!! The little bones in Whiting is definitely worth the hassle! I will also say the Cheeseburger is AWESOME!!! You have a homemade burger so juicy you will definitely need a napkin!!! Even my grandmother loves it & she thinks she's the best cook in Bessemer!!! P.S. The owner is a little curt but we've all gotten use to it! And forgot the pics but I got cha next week!!
